My Experience
Alongside my teaching career, I have enjoyed working in the music industry. My performances have been aired on BBC Radio, TV, documentaries, jingles, advertisements, and numerous records. I have performed in a variety of settings, including theatre shows, festivals, solo performances at weddings, funerals, and restaurants, as well as live concerts, collaborating with both local talent and mainstream artists.
In addition to teaching, I have worked as a session guitarist and musician in numerous recording studios, collaborating with local bands, record producers, labels, and a wide range of artists.
The First Note
Whether you're five or sixty-five, having the right posture and holding your guitar correctly for the style you're about to embark on is one of the most important things you can do. It might seem like a small detail, but it’s the foundation for everything that comes next. Bad habits can develop quickly, and once they do, they’re tough to break, holding back your progress. Starting with the right posture and technique will make your learning journey much smoother.
Expert private guitar tuition in the comfort of your own home, whether you are a beginner or advanced, I offer relaxed lessons to suit many styles and abilities.
Teaching In Harmony
A guitar teacher is a mentor—someone who understands your ambitions, a friend, a motivator, a great musician, and someone who inspires you. Whatever you do, make sure you find the right teacher for you. I offer a one-off, no-obligation lesson.
The Future Sounds Good
A 'teacher-pupil' relationship can span many years. During that time, your skills, ear, and creativity will evolve. It’s crucial that your teacher understands your goals and aspirations, and can guide you toward achieving the bigger picture.
